Plint Appoints Tom Batchelor as Independent Strategic Advisor

Former Disney EMEA Content Operations lead brings
studio-side perspective to Plint’s next chapter

Plint has appointed Tom Batchelor, formerly Vice President of Content

Operations for Disney EMEA, as an Independent Strategic Advisor.

The engagement marks a significant step in Plint’s commitment to building

its proposition from the outside in, testing its capabilities against the standards

of the buyers it serves, not just the ambitions of the team that built it.

Batchelor spent over a decade at Disney, where he oversaw content operations

across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, one of the most demanding locali-

sation environments in the global media industry. He left Disney in mid-2025 to

establish an independent consultancy, bringing that experience to bear on some

of the industry’s most pressing questions around technology adoption, quality

assurance, and enterprise readiness.

Batchelor will continue to work with other organisations alongside his advisory

role at Plint. His focus will be on helping Plint stress-test its enterprise position-

ing, strengthen its client-facing proposition, and navigate the strategic questions

that come with a significant technology transition.

“Tom brings exactly the perspective we needed. Someone who has spent years

on the other side of this conversation, and who asks the questions clients actually

ask. We’re delighted to have him alongside us,” says Åsa Zimmerman, CEO, Plint.
