Building connections is essential to building trust. Before an artist will entrust their story with another person, they must first know them and respect their vision. EGA will work to find opportunities for the original version creative communities to engage with the globalization industry. Working through the membership’s Outreach Committee, EGA will create activations throughout the year that drive industry understanding, capture attention and build trust within the creative community so they not only appreciate the retelling of their stories globally but value the collaboration with the globalization process. The creative community isn’t the only group with whom EGA hopes to foster deeper relationships, we also want to help streaming platforms understand the impact that localization has on the perception of their service within addressable markets. Ongoing engagement through outreach is essential to helping external stakeholders understand the mission, vision and aspirations EGA has around telling their stories and making their businesses successful.
