EGA’s Hermes Awards Program Now Accepting Entries

September 22, 2023 - Los Angeles, CA – The Entertainment Globalization Association (EGA) is thrilled to announce the opening of the Hermes Award submission window. As the industry's only global peer-reviewed awards program, the Hermes Award aims to elevate the appreciation of worldwide storytelling, raise industry standards, and provide a platform for professional recognition.

About the Hermes Award Program:

The Hermes Award in Entertainment Localization Excellence is a testament to the dedication and expertise of professionals in the entertainment globalization industry. It is designed to celebrate excellence in the intricate process of bringing stories to a global audience while maintaining the essence and integrity of the original narrative.

Key Dates:

Submission Window: September 22, 2023, until December 23, 2023.

First Voting Round: January 10, 2024, to February 7, 2024.

Second Voting Round: February 26, 2024, to March 17, 2024.

Hermes Award Show: April 11, 2024.

The awards program features 14 distinct categories that span various aspects of entertainment localization. Submissions will undergo a two-round voting process by qualified peers within EGA's Membership. The Awards Committee is actively working on determining the optimal approach to seamlessly incorporate a translation category into the awards program for next year.
