Voter Elibility

Number of Voters in Main & Specialty Categories: 

• EGA members can register 10 voters in the Main Categories: Best Voice Performance for a Television Series, Best Voice Performance for a Feature, Best Voice Performance for an Animated Series, Best Voice Performance for an Animated Feature, Best Localized Song, Best Overall Dubbing for a Series, Best Overall Dubbing for a Feature, Best Overall Dubbing for an Animation.

• EGA members can register 3 voters in the Specialty Categories: Best Dub Audio Mixing for a Series, Best Dub Audio Mixing for a Feature, Best Audio Description for a Feature, Best Audio Description for a Series, Best Script Adaptation for a Dubbed Audio, Best Subtitling for a Television Series, Best Subtitling for a Feature.

Voter Eligibility by Category: 

Main Categories: Must be an EGA member. Any full-time employees of member companies are eligible for EGA membership.

Audio Mixing Categories:
Must have a minimum of 5 years working as a mixer, sound engineer, or in a role with oversight and understanding of this type of workflow and technical aspects (i.e. dubbing supervisor, etc.). Should have access to workspace with a multi-channel listening environment (at least 5.1 set-up/capabilities). A properly configured 5.1 soundbar is permissible. Must be an EGA member. Any full-time employees of member companies are eligible for EGA membership.

Audio Descriptions Categories:
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in audio description and currently occupying a production role.
Must be an EGA member. Any full-time employees of member companies are eligible for EGA membership.

Script Adaptation Category:
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in script adaptation and currently occupying a role within this discipline.
Must be an EGA member. Any full-time employees of member companies are eligible for EGA membership.

Subtitling Categories:
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in subtitling and currently occupying a role within this discipline.
Must be an EGA member. Any full-time employees of member companies are eligible for EGA membership.
